Liverpool Canal Link
This exciting project now connects the Leeds & Liverpool Canal to Liverpool's famous Albert Dock by means of a new canal.
The Liverpool Canal Link was officially opened to boaters on the 20 April 2009. If you would like an application pack to sail along the link please email enquiries.northwest@britishwaterways.co.uk or phone 01942 405700. You can also visit the Liverpool Canal Link website
The 1.4 mile canal also links the Central and South Docks. The project has been enthusiastically taken up by local people and now forms an integral part of the Pier Head masterplan.
