Restriction: Spot dredging - various locations

Spot dredging of winding holes and associated bank protection works are programmed for August and September at the following locations:
Bridge 187 (Nell Bridge), Bridge 190 (Aynho), Bridge 196 (Somerton), Bridge 215 (Enslow),
The navigation and the winding holes will remain fully open, though boaters may incur short delays up to 30 minutes.

Advice: River Thames on Red Boards

We would like to advise you that the River Thamas is currently showing 'Red Boards' advising boaters that they are not able to enter onto the River Thames from the Oxford Canal. Nell Bridge to Shipton Weir is still passable but please be aware that this may change due to the adverse weather conditions over the next couple of days.
