UPDATE (14 January 2010): Due to the recent adverse weather conditions, the start date for this project has been altered to Monday 25th January.



UPDATE (04 January 2010): The start date for this project has been altered to 18th January.

The boaters' facilities at Old Ford Lock will remain open for the duration of these works, however the Victoria Park Visitor Mooring site will be closed and craft will not be permitted access through Old Ford Lock.

Restriction: Camley Street to York Way

Completion of works to install slab beams, which will allow the construction of a new bridge at Kings Cross, between Camley Street and York Way.

The towpath will be closed during these works and navigation will be suspended during lifting operations.

A further towpath closure will be required at a later date to allow completion of this bridge installation.

Towpath Closure only: Danbury Street to City Road Lock

The towpath will be closed between Danbury Street Bridge and City Road Lock to allow improvement works to the Danbury Street towpath access ramp.

A diversionary route will be signposted.

The Islington Visitor Mooring site will still be in use but accessible only from Colebrooke Row.
