In 2012 the canals and rivers that British Waterways cares for and maintains in England and Wales will become part of a new charity called the Canal & River Trust. We already know how much the public loves spending time by the waterways. We now want to find out more about what floats your boat by the canal so that we can keep you updated with the news you want to hear about.

How do you like spending time by the canals? Is your idea of the perfect waterway day to cruise along in a narrowboat or would you rather be quietly fishing, walking, cycling or jogging along the towpath with your dog in tow?
