Packet Boat Marina is located at the junction of the Slough Arm of the Grand Union Canal in Uxbridge, West London, between bridges 190 and 191.

Just one mile away is West Drayton Railway Station where you can catch a 25 minute train into central London every 30 minutes. Heathrow Airport, the M25 and Stockley Park are all just four miles away.

The site was traditionally where passengers on the Paddington Packet Boat used to stop off on the way along the canal to Paddington Basin, a route which took the best part of the day.

Derelict for much of the 20th Century, British Waterways put forward proposals to transform it into a marina and visitor destination. The £3.5 million project was made possible with funding from the London Development Agency, London's Waterway Partnership and British Waterways London and works were completed in 2003.

British Waterways Marinas Limited has managed Packet Boat Marina since January 2004.

Domestic waste disposal is available at Packet Boat Marina and there is ample free parking.

A pub, supermarket and DIY stores are all located close to the marina and a company on-site offers boat services and repairs, wet dock, diesel and bottled gas sales.

Please note, the showers are available for marina customers only.
